WARP Patches for the 2025-07-16 kRO Ragexe

This build of WARP only accepts the 2025-07-16 client EXE — it will reject any other version.

What has been built so far:

- 268 patches and counting that work on the 2025-07-16 kRO Ragexe client, 37 of them recommended by default
- Custom Jobs system (Reforged)
- Party HP/SP Bars (Reforged), with the rAthena patch that feeds it
- Custom Buttons, for adding your own buttons to the Basic Info window
- EnableCustomFonts, fully rewritten to load .ttf fonts natively

Getting the Client

The easiest way to play is WARPGATE, a one-click downloader and updater.

Unzip it and run it. WARPGATE downloads the full 2025-07-16 client for you, keeps the English translation up to date (powered by llchrisll/ROenglishRE (https://github.com/llchrisll/ROenglishRE/)), and updates itself. No manual EXE patching, no hunting down GRFs, no ClientGenerator steps. Download, run, and play.

September 4, 2026: two new patches, six fixes and a new WARP.exe

This one is a patch update, so re-apply WARP to use it.

Party HP/SP Bars (Reforged). Splits every party member's bar into an HP half and an SP half, in the party window and on the detached mini widgets, with the SP number beside it. The HP and SP colours are yours to set, and your own row can be coloured separately from everyone else's. It needs a matching change on the server, because the client half alone gives you a split bar whose SP side never moves: the SHOW_PARTY_SP build flag makes rAthena send the 22-byte 0x0BAB party packet with sp and maxsp, and adds @spbar so a player can hide their own SP from the party. The patch is in the repository under examples/ShowPartySP/.

Custom Buttons. Adds extra buttons to the row below the HP/SP bars in the Basic Info window, past the 25 the client ships with. Each one is written as an icon and a command, so a button can run anything you can type.

The six fixes.

- Customize Experience Bar Limits produced an EXE Windows refused to start. Four separate defects were stacked behind that one symptom, the first of which was writing over the executable's DOS header. All four are fixed.
- Resize Player Bar was hidden entirely by a stale build-date gate, and once that was lifted it only moved the bar rather than resizing it, because the size it searched for is written differently on this client. The bar measures 120x20 now, up from 60x9.
- Hide Buttons and Show Buttons (New UI) now list every button this client has, rather than only the ones the client leaves visible. Battleground, Booking and Twitter are hidden by the client itself on 2025-07-16, so they never appeared in the list to be turned on.
- Increase Zoom Out gained a 25% step and a custom percentage, Max stopped pulling the camera back further than this client can draw, and all of the zoom patches stopped rescaling sprites and effects as a side effect. Remember to turn zoom out on in game with /zoom, or none of it shows.
- Walk Delay takes the delay in milliseconds now, and the old Remove Walk Delay is retired since it was that same patch pinned to zero. Do not go below 10: under that the character stops playing its walk animation.
- Custom Jobs (Reforged) weapons sat in the air beside the character instead of in its hand. The hands lookup was gated on the wrong value and never ran, so no custom job ever got its own weapon folder.

A new win32/WARP.exe ships with this. "Select Recommended" now loads the community profile in one click instead of asking a long list of questions, and the dead "Convert Profile to Session" row is gone from the menu.

Advanced: Patch Your Own EXE with WARP

WARP is the patcher that WARPGATE's client is built with. If you run your own server or want to hand-pick your patch set, you can WARP an exe yourself. This build of WARP is tuned for the 2025-07-16 kRO Ragexe (build 175220998) and will reject any other version.

You can get the WARP patcher two ways: from the repo (https://github.com/CrazyBebop/WARP0716) (win32/WARP.exe), or by downloading it through WARPGATE.

Setup

- Launch win32/WARP.exe
- Load 2025-07-16_Ragexe_175220998_clientinfo.exe, the Ragexe WARPGATE installs, rather than one you unpacked yourself. It is the same client with clientinfo.xml support already injected, and some patches depend on that. WARPGATE's RAGEXE tab gets you it.
- Select your patches and apply

Recommended Patches

Click "Select Recommended" in the WARP GUI to load the recommended set, all 37 of them, in one click. That button reads profiles/community_recommended.yml, so the file and the button are always the same set. You can also run it from the console:

win32\WARP_console.exe -using profiles/community_recommended.yml

Known Conflict

NoPassEncr requires UseOldLogin. Do not enable both UseSSOLogin and NoPassEncr. The WARP GUI handles this automatically, but YAML profiles need manual care.

Running a Newer Client?

WARP2026 (https://github.com/zVictorHG/WARP2026-Project) by @VictorHug0 targets the 2026-01-07 Ragexe (rAthena thread (https://rathena.org/board/topic/149414-2026-01-07-ragexe-clientinfo-warp/)). Some patches, like CustomJobs, will be ported over there as time allows.
