In short: everything here is made by other people. rA Vault does not test, scan or verify it. You download and use it at your own risk. Always try it on a sandbox / test server first.

We are a directory, not a host

rA Vault lists links to tools, scripts and files that members of the rAthena community have made and shared. The files themselves live on other sites (GitHub, forums, file hosts and so on) and belong to their authors. We do not control those sites or what they serve, and a file can change after it was listed.

Listings are not verified

Anyone can submit a listing without an account. An admin looks at each submission before it is published, but only to check that it looks legitimate and fits the directory. Approval is not a code review, a security audit, a virus scan or an endorsement. We do not check that a tool works, is safe, is up to date, or is compatible with your server.

All listings are provided “as is”, without any warranty. rA Vault, its owner and its admins are not responsible for any damage, data loss, downtime, account or item loss, security breach, or any other problem that comes from using something you found here.

Recommended safety steps

  1. Test on a sandbox server first. Use a local or separate test server with its own database, never your live server.
  2. Back up your database and server files before you install anything.
  3. Read the code. NPC scripts and source diffs are plain text, so look through them, especially for anything that changes accounts, items, zeny or GM levels.
  4. Scan executables and archives with up-to-date antivirus or a service like VirusTotal.
  5. Be careful with closed-source tools that ask for database, FTP or server credentials.
  6. Check compatibility with your rAthena revision, client date and Renewal / Pre-Renewal mode.
  7. Prefer official sources: the author’s GitHub, the rAthena forum topic, or a link the author posted.

For people who submit

By submitting, you confirm that you made the work or have permission to share it, and that it contains no malware, backdoors or hidden behaviour. You are responsible for what you link to. Admins can edit, hide or remove any listing at any time, for any reason.

Use the 🚩 Report this listing button on the listing page for broken links, suspicious files, stolen work or wrong information. Reports go straight to the admins.
